Fly Fishing Waders

Best Wading Pants

In recent years I’ve fallen in love with wading pants verse the full length waders. Wading pants are more comfortable, easier to put on and take off – plus you don’t have to hassle with suspenders.

My recommendation is the SIMMS Freestone Stockingfoot Wader Pants (link to Cabela’s) I have these waders and really enjoy them.

Best Waders for Fly Fishing

I always have to pars of waders with me on a fishing trip. I may not take both pair out on the water, but in the car I’ll have extra’s. Why do I do this I hate being cold and I’ll wear waders all day busting through trails, crawling on my knees and generally abusing them. A day on the water is precious to me so Extras are necessary.

Backup Waders I Recommend

I’m not saying to buy two pair of the most expensive waders on the market. My recommendation is to get an affordable pair like Caddis 2-Tone Breathable Stocking Foot Wader. (Link to Amazon – for pricing and great reviews).

Primary Waders – for long lasting value.

SIMMS offers the BEST WARRANTY in the business. I’ll repeat – BEST WARRANTY on leaks. I own and love SIMMS waders. Make sure you get a size that fits, and luckily Simms has more selections than most.

American made, in the heart of some fishy waters. You can even call them and someone picks up the phone.

I purchased mine from Cabela’s between the Simms warranty and the Cabela’s warranty when ever I they get a leak I send them in.

Check out the link here -> Simms G3 Stockingfoot Waders. No these are not cheap, but when it comes to comfort and staying dry during fishing trip some items like WADERS you want quality.
